Tainichi Bakuon BORDERLESS launches New Artists Discovery Audition: Tainichi Bakuon NEXT!
Winners will receive ¥100,000 in prize money and the chance to perform at a Taiwanese music festival!
Since 2017, Tainichi Bakuon BORDERLESS has been connecting music between Japan and Taiwan.
Its next big project is Tainichi Bakuon NEXT, a live audition designed to discover new artists in Japan with the potential to shine globally.
The audition will take place on September 22–23, 2025 at Kobe live house “Taiyo to Tora”.
We welcome applications from amateur artists aiming for an overseas breakthrough!

Eligibility
Independent artists (not under contract with a label or agency) based in the Kansai region
Able to adjust schedules to travel to Taiwan before/after the event dates and cover travel costs independently
All members must hold valid passports (with sufficient validity) on the day of the final round
No restrictions on format: bands, solo acts, duos, singers – any genre or age welcome!
